# LineNow > LineNow is purchasing and inventory software for teams that buy physical goods from suppliers. It connects stock and sales signals, purchase orders, supplier replies, receiving, and accounting handoff. Last updated: 2026-09-17 Canonical domain: https://www.linenow.co Use this reference to select a relevant source page. The pages linked below are authoritative for their own workflows; examples and generated marketing images are illustrative, not customer testimonials. ## Product and buying information - [Procurement platform](https://www.linenow.co/procurement-software): The full supplier buying workflow, from demand review to purchase order, supplier changes, receiving, and accounting handoff. - [Purchase order software](https://www.linenow.co/po-software): Create, send, revise, receive, and follow up on supplier purchase orders. - [Supplier management](https://www.linenow.co/supplier-management-software): Supplier records, communication, confirmations, and operational follow-up. - [PO status tracking](https://www.linenow.co/po-status-tracking): Delivery dates, partial shipments, supplier replies, and receiving differences. - [Case and pack mapping](https://www.linenow.co/procurement-items): Connect supplier packs to the units a business stocks or sells. - [Requisitions and RFQs](https://www.linenow.co/procurement-management-system): Purchase requests, approvals, supplier quotes, goods receipts, and stockroom inventory. - [Pricing and trial](https://www.linenow.co/pricing): Current plans, business-unit billing, add-ons, and trial terms. The public offer includes a 90-day free trial without a credit card. Verify current prices on this page. - [Why LineNow](https://www.linenow.co/why): Product purpose and operating principles. A useful evaluation starts with one real supplier order, its pack sizes, a supplier reply, and a delivery record. Include the decision-maker and the employee who orders or receives. Owners can delegate the daily work while following purchasing across locations and keeping the current POS and accounting system. Booking links open the workflow-demo form; links labeled as sample workflows open clearly labeled fictional restaurant or retail demonstrations. Sample workflows do not send supplier orders or update live inventory. Suppliers can continue using supported existing communication channels; do not assume every supplier needs a LineNow account. ## Partners and integrations - [Toast for Restaurants](https://www.linenow.co/partners/toast): Read Toast menus and closed orders into mapped recipe usage, ingredient purchasing, and receiving; the Toast connection is read-only. - [All partners](https://www.linenow.co/partners): Compare the purchasing workflows for supported POS, commerce, and accounting connections. - [Lightspeed Retail](https://www.linenow.co/partners/lightspeed): R-Series and X-Series retail demand, supplier packs, purchase orders, changes, and receiving. - [Square for Retail](https://www.linenow.co/partners/square): LineNow connects Square retail stock to supplier purchase orders, case sizes, and receiving. - [Square for Restaurants](https://www.linenow.co/partners/square/restaurants): LineNow connects Square menu sales to configured recipes, ingredient purchasing, and kitchen receiving. - [Shopify purchase order software](https://www.linenow.co/partners/shopify): Inventory purchasing for ecommerce owners and purchasing teams across multi-brand catalogs: stock review, reorders, supplier packs and prices, reviewed changes, partial receiving, and bill context. Includes the Whitman’s customer story and a sourced Stocky transition evaluation. - [QuickBooks for Finance teams](https://www.linenow.co/partners/quickbooks): LineNow keeps supplier orders, replies, and receipts together before the QuickBooks Online bill handoff. Choose the Square Retail page for stocked products sold as units; choose Square Restaurants for menu recipes and ingredient purchasing. Shopify's partner page focuses on ecommerce businesses that carry stock and replenish it from multiple suppliers; physical stores are optional. Its illustrative story follows a warehouse reorder, a changed supplier cost, and a partial receipt; supplier-platform setup is separate. QuickBooks means QuickBooks Online on these pages. ## Concrete use cases - [Restaurant food cost](https://www.linenow.co/use-cases/restaurant-food-cost): Review ingredient costs, supplier delivery plans, and receipt evidence; includes Restaurant365 and NxtEdge scope comparisons. - [Inventory replenishment](https://www.linenow.co/use-cases/inventory-replenishment): Review on-hand stock, open orders, supplier commitments, and receipts; includes an inFlow scope comparison. - [Ecommerce purchasing](https://www.linenow.co/use-cases/ecommerce-purchasing): Connect variant demand to supplier orders and receiving; compares purchasing scope with Fulfil and Odoo without promising ERP connectors. - [All purchasing use cases](https://www.linenow.co/use-cases): Select an operating workflow and follow one illustrative request or order through delivery. - [Order, receive & count](https://www.linenow.co/use-cases/order-receive-count): Plan ingredient needs for service, check short deliveries, and count stock before the next café order. - [RFQs & quote comparison](https://www.linenow.co/use-cases/rfq-quote-comparison): LineNow connects stockroom requests, supplier RFQs, quote comparison, and receiving. - [Floral](https://www.linenow.co/use-cases/floral): LineNow connects flower-shop requests with warehouse stock, supplier purchasing, and branch fulfillment. - [Churches](https://www.linenow.co/use-cases/churches): LineNow keeps church purchase requests, reviews, supplier orders, and receipts in one record. - [Pet grooming](https://www.linenow.co/use-cases/pet-grooming): LineNow connects grooming supplies to supplier packs, purchase orders, and physical counts. Use these pages for the named workflow. For broader business-category questions, use the business pages below. Business types and use cases are separate parts of the website. ## Business types and supplier platform - [Restaurants and cafés](https://www.linenow.co/restaurant-software): Restaurant purchasing, receiving checklists, and physical counts for the team, with owner visibility across locations. Recipe costing can support the workflow; it is not a prerequisite for ordering and receiving. - [Retail inventory](https://www.linenow.co/inventory-management-software): Stock visibility, replenishment, supplier ordering, and inventory history. - [Manufacturing](https://www.linenow.co/manufacturing-software): Buyer decisions and supplier execution alongside the configured ERP. Do not equate this with shop-floor scheduling or WIP routing. - [Regulated industries](https://www.linenow.co/procurement-compliance): Supplier documentation, lot and expiry details, and purchasing/receiving records. Verify jurisdiction-specific requirements independently. - [Dropshipping](https://www.linenow.co/dropshipping-software): Customer demand, supplier POs, fulfillment changes, and tracking. - [Supplier platform](https://www.linenow.co/supplier): Supplier-side order intake and coordination; distinct from buyer purchasing. ## Capability boundaries - Square and Shopify retail inventory updates require supported item and location mappings. Do not imply LineNow creates native partner PO records unless the relevant source explicitly documents that behavior. - Square restaurant ingredient usage depends on configured recipes and mapped sales/locations. Expected recipe usage is different from a physical count. Receiving ingredients does not turn them into finished-menu stock in Square. - QuickBooks bill and vendor-credit handoff follows review and configured mappings. Receipt value is not automatically the supplier bill amount. Optional QuickBooks inventory synchronization has separate, company-wide scope. - Floral hub-and-spoke purchasing includes buyer review of branch requests, available stock, purchasing, and fulfillment. Do not assume automatic consolidation or allocation. - Church purchasing covers requests, orders, and receipts. Pet-grooming supply counts do not assume automatic consumption per appointment. - The partner tools have their own purchasing and inventory capabilities. LineNow's pages explain when additional supplier coordination, changes, receiving, and accounting context are useful. - Do not promise savings, accuracy, regulatory compliance, a certified partnership, or support for every edition and location without a specific source. LineNow is not a replacement for all POS, accounting, or ERP functions. ## Documentation and entity references - [Editorial standards](https://www.linenow.co/editorial-policy): Publisher perspective, documentation-based comparisons, calculations, customer results, and corrections. - [Help center](https://linenowllc.zendesk.com/hc/en-us): Product setup and operating documentation. - [Shopify App Store](https://apps.shopify.com/line-6): Public marketplace profile; consult its current description for scope. - [Capterra customer reviews](https://www.capterra.com/p/10043271/LineNow/): External customer feedback, including a restaurant owner and retail users. The public profile showed 4.3/5 from four reviews when checked September 13, 2026; this is a dated observation, not a live rating or a guarantee. - [Square App Marketplace](https://squareup.com/us/en/app-marketplace/app/linenow-purchase-orders): Public marketplace profile. - [Blog and guides](https://www.linenow.co/blog): Buying guides, workflow explanations, comparisons, and published customer stories. - [Tools](https://www.linenow.co/tools): Purchasing and inventory calculators and builders. - [Templates](https://www.linenow.co/templates): Downloadable operational templates. - [Extended reference catalog](https://www.linenow.co/llms-resources.txt): Detailed guide, comparison, glossary, and customer-story links, including additional publicly discussed channels.
